    Why do I require a GPRS unit for the boiler?
    Answer:
    If the property is used in the rental market and the tenants are responsible for the internet connection, we use the GPRS unit to connect the boiler to the internet via the mobile phone network, this means the connection is continuous regardless of change of tenancy.
    Question:
    Will I have to buy a sim card and pay for the data being used for the GPRS unit?
    Answer:
    No the initial cost of the GPRS unit includes the sim card and the data that will be used for the life of the boiler.

    What size of combi boiler do I need for my home?
    Answer:
    An average three or four bedroom house typically has around ten radiators and will usually require a small or medium combi boiler, for example 24-30 kW. A larger house with substantially more radiators or an en-suite bathroom will generally need one that is larger, typically 30-35 kW.

    Is it better to oversize the boiler?
    Answer:
    Modern advances in boiler technology mean that they are now more efficient than ever. In the past homeowners were often advised to choose an over-sized boiler to compensate for heat loss, this is no longer recommended. It will result in wasted energy and is likely to leave you paying more than you need to for your gas bill.
