    Domestic Water System Periodic Review
This service can be carried out at the same time as other safety checks at your property. Landlords who provide residential accommodation, as the person in control of the premises or responsible for the water systems in their premises, have a legal duty to ensure that the risk of exposure of tenants to legionella is properly assessed. It is important to review the assessment periodically in case anything changes in the system at the property.
Members of the Legionella Control Association (LCA).
Landlords and those in charge of premises, often referred to as the “duty holder” must select a contractor to be responsible for handling risk assessments and other health and safety matters associated with the water systems found at their property. This is to ensure the health and safety of workers, visitors and others is properly protected. Typically, the process would include the preparation of a comprehensive Legionella risk assessment for the presence and possible dangers posed by exposure to Legionella bacteria and Legionnaires’ disease. Contract Heating provide a comprehensive range of Legionella control services as we are members of the Legionella Control Association (LCA).
